Residential Solar

Residential solar power has come a long way over the last few decades. Just twenty years ago solar technology, while available, was rather inefficient. However, today’s solar panels are vastly superior to those early models.

Residential solar power is beneficial to the homeowner on two fronts. Number one, it can drastically reduce, and in some cases eliminate the monthly energy bill. Number two, solar power is a truly clean source of energy, meaning that it does not create the environmental problems that fossil fuels can cause.

Residential solar panels are not nearly as bulky and off-putting as those of the past. Today’s panels have a much more streamlined design, and are also capable of generating higher voltages, making them more efficient. This trend will continue as photovoltaic technology continues to improve.
